General
The Behringer ZMX2600 is a rack-sized zone mixer that allows you to control sound independently in six separate locations from a single device. It's designed for use with commercial sound systems and fixed installations and is ideal for any establishment with multiple areas like sports clubs, schools, offices and other similar environments. There are two stereo inputs and you can choose to broadcast in stereo or mono at the push of a button.
Behringer ZMX2600: Complete control
There are five LEDs per channel that indicate the current signal activity and separate volume controls for the left and right signals per channel. The balanced inputs are gold-plated XLR connectors that ensure an optimal signal transfer. There's also a Planet Earth mode that enables the ZMX2600 to operate as efficiently as possible. If you want different sound levels in different locations, the ZMX2600 allows you to control everything easily from a single device.

Dit is precies wat ik zocht. Handig dat je de uitgangen apart stereo/mono kan schakelen. Heb nu de studiomonitoren een mono-sub in de woonkamer twee actieve speakers in de keuken en twee actieve speakers in het tuinhuisje. Super handig voor een lage prijs. Geen last van ruis of brom.
Wij gebruiken deze Zone Mixer om 2 stereo-signalen te mixen naar verschillende ruimtes/versterkers. Hij beschikt over aparte gain knoppen, clipping indicatie, en een aparte mix tussen beide stereo-signalen per output kanaal. Ook heeft hij een handige knop om tussen mono en stereo te wisselen, wat handig is bij verschillende types van evenementen. Een fuif doen we namelijk op mono, terwijl een live muziek avond in stereo gemixt wordt. Dit bespaart de moeite om de versterkers zelf te schakelen via een moeilijk bereikbare knop aan de achterkant.
Het enige minpuntje dat ik heb is dat de draaiknoppen niet van de meest hoogwaardige kwaliteit voelen, wat wel te verwachten is in deze prijscategorie. Dit neemt echter niet af van de functionaliteit, en de kwaliteit/prijs verhouding ligt in mijn ogen zeer hoog.
