General

A wireless headset is the ultimate tool for teachers, actors and presenters who like to keep their hands free. As opposed to a lavalier microphone, a headset suffers less contact noise, as it doesn't rub against your clothing. You'll be able to move freely without causing annoying sounds. The Alto Pro Radius 200H system transmits audio via a beltpack. Plug in your headset, clip it to your belt and the beltpack wirelessly transmits a signal to the receiver, which subsequently transfers the sound to your mixer or active speaker by means of an XLR or 6.3mm jack cable.

Radius 200H: two signals

The main difference between the Radius 200H system and the Radius 100H system is the way the receiver monitors incoming signals. The 100H's switching diversity technology ensures quality signal transfers, but the 200H is equipped with true diversity technology, which offers additional stability. True diversity means there's not only two antennas, but two independent receivers as well, both located in the receiver unit. The two signals are continuously monitored, and the strongest signal is used to minimise the chances of signal loss. Additionally, a squelch function ensures you won’t hear any noise when you're not speaking into the microphone.
