General

The WMS4500-HC577 is a professional headset microphone that is well suited for use in the theatre and on other stages. Thanks to the metal bracket, it can be worn on the head, leaving your hands free to do something else! This AKG set contains pure quality! The wide frequency range of the various parts guarantees a natural reproduction of your voice. The maximum output power of 50 mW provides you with a signal in even the largest locations.

HC577 headset microphone

The HC577 is an extremely small headset microphone, designed for stage use. This microphone uses an omnidirectional pickup pattern that picks up the sound around the microphone, while ambient noise is suppressed. This way, the audience will only hear what it needs to: your voice. This headset uses a double-diaphragm capsule that is designed to protect the voice coil against moisture, sweat and salt. This comes in very handy when you are using this headset on a stage where there is warm theatre lighting. More importantly, makeup and the like don't get a chance to get in at the voice coil so you will be able to enjoy this microphone for years to come. Thanks to the adjustable bracket and the soft ear clamps, this microphone can be worn comfortably and you won't have to worry about whether or not it is securely fastened! The sound quality isn't an issue either: it is excellent!

AKG PT4500 beltpack transmitter

This wireless transmitter delivers excellent audio quality, whether it is transmitting the signal of an instrument or of vocals. This is partly made possible by its wide frequency range of 35 Hz to 20 kHz. The PT4500 is equipped with various technological feats that add to user-friendliness and overview. This system, for instance, works with a 'pilot tone', a test signal of sorts. No sound signal is transferred between transmitter and receiver before a stable pilot tone is achieved. Practically, this means that you won't be bothered by a loud popping noise if you turn the transmitter on. This pilot tone also constantly sends information to the receiver, so that the remaining battery life, signal strength, mute and other things can be read from the receiver. The PT4500 lasts up to 15 hours on two AA batteries. With a separately available rechargeable battery, it will last 12 hours.

The SR4500 receiver

This analogue wireless receiver uses true diversity. This means that it is constantly scanning which of the two antennas delivers the best and most powerful signal and that it then switches accordingly. This way, you can always be sure of a continuous signal without interruptions. The automatic set-up function scans the available frequency range for an available, interference-free frequency. The colour display can be set so that it provides you with precisely the information that you need. The SR4500 has a built-in data interface, so that it can be controlled remotely via your computer and even via your iPhone, iPad and iPod or Soundcraft Vi mixers.
