General

For mobile artists, sport and dance teachers, the AKG WMS420 Headworn Set is ideal. This set allows you to go wherever you want, while having your hands free. The great-sounding and easy-to-set-up wireless headset system consists of a SR420 receiver, a PT420 beltpack and a C555 L condenser headset microphone. The AKG WMS420 Headworn Set is available in various versions that are attuned to different frequency bands. This version communicates via band A, which runs from 530 to 560 MHz.

WMS420 Headworn Set: easy to use

The AKG WMS420 Headworn Set is very easy to set up. After you have connected it, the best channel is automatically selected for interference-free and solid signal transfers. This channel can be read from your beltpack or receiver via a clear display. Besides that, you can also manually select a different channel via the channel button. Indicators for battery status, signal transfer and possible overloading of the signal, as well as volume controls for the output volume, are also present.

C555L headset microphone

The AKG WMS420 Headworn Set is delivered including a C555L headset microphone. The condenser microphone requires phantom power to function. This is delivered by the PT420 bodypack. The microphone has a frequency range from 80 to 20,000 Hz. This is optimal for vocals as extremely low tones are not picked up and amplified. You can simply and comfortable clamp the headset behind both your ears, so that it will stay in place and you have the mobility you need.
