The Sony MDR-1000X headphones are the next step in audio isolation. They are equipped with Wireless Noise Cancelling that can be adjusted according to the environment and your own preferences. These headphones react to your listening behaviour so you can always be sure of optimal audio. When you need to interact with your environment, a simple touch of the ear pad is enough to decrease the volume enough to hear traffic or engage in conversation. The MDR-1000X headphones can even detect important signals or announcements in a busy location like a train station or airport and let these through while still isolating your ears from ambient noise.

These headphones were engineered especially for music, so Sony have equipped them with 40mm drivers with a special membranes that emphasise heavier beats. They boast an enormous frequency range of 4 Hz to 40 kHz. Compressed files are automatically optimised by the Digital Sound Enhancement Engine so every detail in the high and low tones are audible. If the headphones are connected to a device via Bluetooth, streaming is processed three times as fast through LDAC. This means you can listen to up to 20 hours with noise-suppression on, or 22 hours with it off. Noise-suppression is turned off when the headphones are plugged in and when you need to recharged them, use the included USB cable and they'll be ready to go in just four hours!
