Thanks to its robust housing, it's quite durable, which is important for life on the road! Furthermore, as it transfers the signal digitally instead of using analogue transmission, it's possible to use multiple systems simultaneously. The bandwidth of a digital system is much narrower than that of a comparable analogue system. Linking the microphone to the receiver can be done with a single press of a button, after which the clever infrared system takes care of the rest.
