The Samson CR288 Dual Handheld System is ideal for two vocalists or two instructors. The capsule in the mic is based on the dynamic Q6, and it boasts a range of use of 100 metres. On two full AA batteries (sold separately), the microphones will work up to eight hours.

Nieuwe set besteld, op tijd voor gebruik in weekend geleverd. Bij uitpakken was de doos reeds geopend, bleek de ontvanger met gebruikssporen en lijkt de hele set tweedehands te zijn. Helpdesk direct gemaild op maandag voor een passende oplossing, tot op heden nog niets gehoord.

Slechts een enkele microfoon kunnen testen, lijkt redelijk te werken. Eenvoudige bediening, goed uitgangsvermogen. Statische tikken, maar dat zou aan de afgestuurde set kunnen liggen.

Wrote the following about Samson CR288 Dual Handheld System (I: 518-566 MHz) wireless

De basisschool van mijn kids was op zoek naar vervangende draadloze microfoons voor diverse activiteiten op school. Ze hadden 2 oude VHF-sets op 9V batterijen die ontzettend stoorden en waarvan de batterijen snel leeg waren. Na een korte zoektocht kwam ik bij deze set uit en heb ik ze besteld en zelf eerst getest. Ik moet zeggen dat ik als gebruiker van duurdere Shure sets blij verrast was.

Waarom ik hiervoor gekozen heb en wat ook gebleken is:

- De set is eenvoudig te gebruiken: er zijn geen onnodige knoppen aanwezig.
- De frequenties zijn per zender eenvoudig vast te leggen maar zonder de handleiding door te lezen niet zomaar "per ongeluk"te wijzigen: hufterproof of beter nog "kidsproof" dus.
- Elke mic maakt gebruik van 2 penlites (AA) batterijen en gaan dan uren mee: superhandig dus aangezien deze batterijen altijd wel ergens voorhanden zijn en overal te koop zijn. De 9V zitten bijna nergens meer in.
- Het geluid is veel beter dan verwacht: Ik moet zeggen dat ik als gebruiker van duurdere Shure sets blij verrast was.

Daarnaast is er gebruik gemaakt van degelijke materialen: veel beter dan wellicht iets goedkopere sets van concurrenten. De eerste set wordt in gebruik genomen maar ik verwacht dat de tweede ook besteld wordt: je kan namelijk eenvoudig meerdere sets naast elkaar gebruiken.

Mis ik dan nog iets? Een batterij-indicator zou handig zijn maar eigenlijk kan dat niet voor deze prijs: duurdere sets hebben dit dan wel.
