General

When Sony started manufacturing wireless microphones, that was a surprise in itself. The fact that it immediately turned to the 2.4GHz band was even more unexpected. This DWZ-M50 system has been developed for mobile vocalists who are looking for an easily operable, reliable system with a decent sound. The set consists of a handheld microphone and a compact receiver.

Characteristics of the DWZ-M50 system

Thanks to linear 24-bit PCM digital audio transmission, the DWZ-M50 system offers optimal sound quality, which is of crucial importance for any artist. As the system uses the 2.4GHz frequency band, there is no need to worry about interfering frequencies in your region. The set is supplied with a half-rack receiver, which means you can mount two of these units side by side in a 19-inch rack. Other benefits of the receiver are its clear colour display, its well-organised layout and its characteristic design.

Special features of the handheld microphone

Sony tries to make something special of each of its products. Sometimes that special touch can be an extra function or feature, but at other times the manufacturer comes up with an entirely new system that no-one even thought of before. The DWZ-M50 system is a great example of the latter. The handheld microphone of this system is equipped with an exchangeable capsule! A unidirectional dynamic capsule is included with the set.

Sony DWZ-M50 (2.4 GHz) digital wireless handheld set
Wrote the following about Sony DWZ-M50 (2.4 GHz) digital wireless handheld set
Inmiddels de set van 4 stuks een paar weken in huis. En helaas is de slogan van Sony waarheid... Make. Believe...

Goede kwaliteit, mooie afwerking, mooie materialen. Kop klinkt echt best wel goed....

Jammer... in afwachting voor een oplossing van sony...
