General

The wireless EW 172 G3 wireless instrument microphone set by Sennheiser enables you complete freedom of movement on stage. The audio quality is top notch thanks to the set's innovative technology such as integrated cable emulator feature, which simulates the length of the cables you used to use to give you the same characteristics, if desired. It also includes a built-in tuner and enhanced AF frequency response in the EQ section that start at 25 Hz, making the de EW 172 G3 set ideal for 5-string bassists.

Excellent audio quality and stable signal

Seeing as most guitarists and bassists work hard to perfect their sound, they don't want to risk the chance of sacrificing it in exchange for more mobility, for instance. Wireless systems have come a long way, and Sennheiser's entire G3 series of wireless mics prove that quality is no longer an issue. The automatic True Diversity scan function always finds the optimal frequency range for an optimal, stable signal, and a strong signal means a strong sound, simple as that. Via the infra-red interface, syncing the transmitter and the receiver is done in no time, especially in combination with the BA2015 rechargeable battery pack (sold separately).
