General

If you want to buy a stable, wireless system for your guitar, bass guitar or other instrument, the AKG WMS470 is what you need. It allows you to expand to multiple systems, as a tuning range of 30 MHz allows you to choose from 1,200 channels with up to 20 simultaneous channels in the same frequency band. This way, you can easily operate larger events. However, for smaller gigs or seminars this system is also well suited, thanks to its range of dozens of metres.

SR 470 receiver

This receiver has a width of half a 19-inch rack, a fully metal housing and it is equipped with balanced as well as unbalanced outputs. It is equipped with a large LCD screen on which all the important information can be made out: RF level, audio signal, the frequency or group, the channel and the name of the unit. When irregularities such as volume peaks, a low battery voltage or signal fallout occur, the lighting of the display changes so that you are kept well-informed about the functioning of your wireless system at all times. The SR 470 is equipped with volume controls at the front so that you won't have to fiddle with the back of dark 19-inch racks. This high-quality wireless receiver by AKG is equipped with all kinds of handy functions which ensure that your system does its job reliably, even in situations where multiple wireless systems are being used (at festivals, for instance). The SR 470 can be extended with external antennas in order to create a more extensive wireless system with an increased range.

PT 470 bodypack transmitter

This extremely light and compact transmitter can be connected to your guitar, bass guitar or other instrument. This way, you create a wireless system with high sound quality. There are countless headset and tie-clip microphones available that are compatible with the PT470, making this transmitter extremely versatile. Via the infrared connection, you can synchronise the transmitter with the receiver for an easy setup of your system. This PT 470 works with a pilot tone: no sound signal is passed on by the receiver until a stable pilot tone is established between the transmitter and receiver. In practice, this means that you won't be bothered by a loud popping noise when you turn on the transmitter.
