General

The Audio Technica ATW-1701 is used to ensures wireless sound recording when you are filming with a video camera. This set consists of a receiver and transmitter. You should can slide the receiver into the hot shoe of the camera and connect it to your camera via the accessory 3.5mm cable. The bodypack transmitter is clamped to your belt, for instance, and you can subsequently connect a separately available lavalier or other type of microphone with UniPak connector to the transmitter. When all of this is done, the system is ready for stable signal transfers from transmitter to camera.

ATW-1701: triple diversity and 2.4 GHz

The ATW-1701 is a part of the System 10 series. Each of the sets from this series operates within the 2.4GHz range, which can be used all over the world and isn't bothered by, for instance, TV signals. The right frequency is found in an instant by the ATW-1701 set. To ensure optimal signal transfers, three diversity types are used: the signal leaves the transmitter on two frequencies, two moments and towards two antennas. You can charge the battery of the receiver via the accessory power adapter and use two AA batteries for the power supply of the transmitter.
