General
The Hotone Bass Press is a 3-in-1 effects pedal in a compact housing. It offers a wah mode, volume mode and expression pedal mode. Based on the original CryBaby Bass, the wah mode offers a wide sweep with plenty of harmonic overtones. It's also equipped with an active volume control signal that ensures your signal stays crystal clear. Moreover, with the Range knob, you can further fine-tune your sound. If that wasn't enough, you can use the Bass Press as an expression pedal for a multitude of effects with a (stereo) TRS expression pedal input. When you use the Bass Press as an expression pedal, you don't need auxiliary power or a 9V battery.
The Hotone Press Series
The Press series is actually the odd one out in Hotone's range of products, as the company is better known for its Skyline micro effect pedals and the Nano Legacy amplifiers. What both series of pedals have in common, though, is that they're both incredibly compact. Unlike a stomp box, however, a foot pedal needs to be a certain size for comfortable use, which is why the Press pedals are slightly bigger than the average Hotone unit. Thanks to its versatile, compact and multi-purpose design, this pedal is sure to become an indispensable part of your setup in no time!

Ik heb 2 maal deze wah. Ik heb hem in eerste instantie gekocht voor de volume functie. Niet te duur en lekker klein. werkt perfect en je kan ook het minimum volume instellen. Later heb ik er nog een aangeschaft omdat ik ook een Wah voor mijn basgitaar wou hebben. Mocht je graag een groot volume pedaal of wah pedaal onder je voet voelen dan is dit niets voor jou maar wil je ruimte en gewicht besparen op je pedalboard en zoek je een goed product voor een niet al te hoog bedrag dan moet je dit product kopen.
Ik gebruik hem voor de bas, maar ook op elektrisch gitaar is het een toffe wahwah- en volumepedaal. Beide functie werken overigens naar behoren. De behuizing voelt degelijk aan en ik verwacht er nog lang mee te kunnen spelen. :)
