TC Helicon are well known for their excellent vocal effects and the VoiceLive Play effects processor boasts more than a few of them. With it you can add beautiful harmonies to your voice or even turn yourself into a complete choir! In fact, there are hundreds of different effects presets for you to choose from. Producers normally spend more time perfecting the sound of vocals than they do for any other instrument. This type of studio-quality sound can now be yours any time with the VoiceLive Play. The effects include modulations, delays, reverbs, and harmonies among others. There's even a Vocal Cancel function that lets you sing along with your favourite songs while it effectively suppresses the original vocals.

Goede set vocal effects, harmony en double functies iets robotachtig. Klinkt wel ok met SM58, (je hoort wat ruis)maar het ontbreken van een midi aansluiting maakt het moeilijk om meerstemmige en hardtune effecten professioneel te gebruiken. Niet in mijn home studio setup geschikt voor mijn projecten, ik zal een duurder model van TC helicon moeten aanschaffen met Midi. Voor andere gebruikers zie ik de voicelive play wel als een zeer gunstig en betaalbaar model en heb ook geen klachten over de kwaliteit en bouw. Zeker een leuk apparaat als instapmodel.

De meeste effecten klinken er mooi en natuurlijk. Ideaal voor vocalisten met gebrek aan koortjes omdat je extra stemmen kan invoeren.

Een fijn en stevig klein bakje met 234 presets waaronder een heleboel mooie effecten. De favourite functie is erg handig. Gemakkelijke interface om je eigen instellingen/effecten mee te maken en van effect te verwisselen. De meeste effecten klinken er mooi en natuurlijk (behalve dan de effecten die niet natuurlijk bedoeld zijn). Ideaal voor vocalisten met gebrek aan koortjes (je kunt er zo een paar extra stemmen bij zetten) en ook voor vocalisten die van een beetje experimenteren houden.
