Wrote the following about TC Helicon Play Electric Effect for Vocals and Acoustic guitar

Heb deze een tijd gehad maar weer verkocht omdat ik zeer ontevreden was. Een effect moet een toevoeging op je bestaande klank zijn, dat is met deze tc helicon beslist niet. Van de eigen klank van je gitaar blijft weinig tot niets over, al zet je alle instellingen op neutraal, van de mooie klank van je instrument is niets meer terug te horen. Ik speel zelf Fender en Gretch, na inschakelen van de tc helicon ik herkende beide gitaren niet meer, je sound veranderd in een droge kleurloze klank waar eigenlijk niets moois meer van te maken is. Naast het verknallen van je eigen sound veroorzaakt de tc helicon een nare zoem/ brom wanneer je hem gebruikt terwijl je hem op je pc (via usb) hebt aangesloten. Ik heb hem snel weer verkocht en mijn verlies genomen

Sinds een week in het bezit van de play electric. Heerlijke geluiden en makkelijk te bedienen mits je de tijd neemt om de manual door te nemen en te experimenteren. Via de pc is het makkelijk om andere presets te laden die van internet te downloaden zijn. Het programma van TC Helicon maakt automatisch verbinding met hun cloud waar vele presets te vinden zijn. Een aanrader deze effect-unit. Wil je hem opstellen in je huidige chain zet hem dan als eerste en bij gebruik van andere effecten dan de play electric slecteer je een lege preset in de play electric... Toppertje, ook qua zang effecten, harmonieën ed.
