The Blackmagic Design UltraStudio 4K Mini presents the ultimate portable solution when it comes to recording and playing back the highest image resolutions for a Mac. Combined with the fitted Thunderbolt 3 port, this unit is capable of video resolutions of up to UHD 4K, but using the 12G-SDI, HDMI 2.0, and analogue ports, you're assured of full and flexible performance. Record broadcast quality material and play it back in 10-bit up to 4K DCI with 60 fps, and if you use 4K DCI 30 fps, then you can comfortably record 12-bit resolution material. In terms of controls, the UltraStudio 4K Mini has been set up for intuitive simplicity. Just a handful of buttons have been fitted on the front panel next to a clear LCD screen for navigating menus and settings. A mouse or keyboard can be connected up via USB for further control, and an SD card reader has been built-in for direct media-checks and play back. Convenient and insanely flexible, the UltraStudio Mini 4K is compatible with the majority of Blackmagic's own cameras, including the popular Cinema-Series and Production-Series.
