General

Shoot via a Super 35 sensor, thirteen-stop dynamic range and an ISO value of up to 25,600 with the tight Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 6K: a cinema-grade camera in a near-pocket-sized housing. This camera is able to perform under any conditions - even bad lighting - which isn't something that many cameras are able to claim. That thirteen-stop dynamic range, for example, enables the recovery finer details during post-production, pulling them out of the shadows, and everything is captured in Blackmagic RAW format; a codec that supports lossless storage and maximum detail.

The Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera

The large 5 inch full-HD display planted on the back panel grants access to a wealth of essential functions and extras and allows users to easily focus on objects and frame shots with efficient accuracy. Information about the lens used, the exposure, aperture settings and even LUTs are automatically stored as meta data that can be accessed to check the settings of a specific shot. Also, this camera doesn't only support high-speed SD/UHS memory cards, but can be directly hooked up to a USB-C hard drive and remove any fears of running out of storage. The EF lens mount is compatible with Canon lenses, and besides RAW, this camera supports ProRes recordings, capturing in superb quality and enabling easy editing. A microphone has been built in to aid synchronisation, but an external microphone can also be plugged into the fitted XLR port to capture professional audio.
