Bearing a professional spec sheet plus a mass of extras, the Rode X XDM 100 USB microphone is the ideal podcasting, live streaming and even gaming tool. Thanks to the internal dynamic capsule, this microphone is almost exclusively focussed on capturing sound from the front, so your speech will come through loud and clear without any interruption from keyboard or mouse clicks. The internal Aphex DSP chip, meanwhile, gives the sound of your voice the full and round sound you'd get from professional radio microphones, and using the included UNIFY software, up to four USB microphones can be mixed, and the audio from apps can be sent to six virtual devices, so you're kitted out with a separate fader for the game audio, your music playlist and every microphone.
