Are you in need of a high-quality USB microphone to quickly and easily create quality recordings? Then the Rode NT-USB is the microphone for you! It is not only designed for recording vocals and instruments but can also be used for podcasting. Furthermore, the NT-USB is a smart, matt-black condenser microphone and comes with a microphone clip, tripod stand and a tailor-made pop filter included.
The NT-USB: Easy to Install
The Rode NT-USB is easily set up - as soon as you connect the microphone to the USB port of your Mac or PC, select the mic as the input ot sound card in your recording program and it's good to go! Since there is no need to download any drivers, you can very literally plug and play! If you use the separately available Apple camera connection kit, you can also connect this condenser microphone to your iPhone or iPod.
Great User-Friendliness
After you have connected the Rode NT-USB, operating the microphone is easy. At the sides you will find two rotary knobs and a headphone connector. The lower rotary knob found on the side of the mic controls the headphone volume and the upper knob controls the balance between the sound of your computer and that of the microphone. This way, you can monitor the sound of your voice and sing or play along with the track in your DAW without latency.
Tips or comments about this product- Please note: This microphone comes with a 5/8 to 3/8 thread adapter.
- A device like an iPad may not provide enough power for the microphone. If this is the case, the light will not turn on and you should use a powered USB hub instead.
- In some cases, a computer will automatically reduce the volume of a USB microphone as soon as it's plugged in. The volume can then be turned up manually.

De microfoon staat op mijn bureau, dat geen wel wat extra contactgeluid, maar met een paar viltjes valt het bijna niet meer op. Misschien nog een keer investeren in een arm/statief.

Met het gratis programma Audacity voor mij een mooie combinatie. De mogelijkheid om op de hoofdtelefoon de instellingen via de RODE het geluid te kunnen mixen is ideaal. Zeer tevreden. Mijn hobby mondharmonica spelen heeft vanaf nu met de RODE een extra toegevoegde waarde.
