If you want to make professional vocal or speech recordings but don't want the hassle of a lot of cables, Blue presents the Yeti Pro Studio USB condenser microphone. This mic offers everything you need to record directly to your computer. Normally, you'd need a separate audio interface to convert and amplify the signal, but a USB microphone like the Yeti Pro Studio has an audio interface built in. This studio edition comes complete with the Studio One Artist DAW package by Presonus and includes the iZotope Nectar Elements plugin too.
Features of the Blue Yeti Pro Studio USB Condenser Microphone
The USB condenser microphone is at the heart of this set, which offers four different pickup patterns thanks to three integrated capsules. The cardioid setting is ideal for preventing background noise from getting picked up. The omnidirectional setting ensures the exact opposite—that all audio surrounding the microphone is captured. Thanks to 24-bit/192kHz recording quality, your audio will be captured in great detail and precision. Should you want even more control over your recording, this mic can also be connected to a mixing desk.
From Idea to Production
The Blue Yeti comes with software that enables you to create fully-fledged professional productions. Studio One Artist is an excellent DAW designed to help you arrange and mix your music. The Nectar Elements plugin by iZotope making mixing even easier, as the presets have been made by professional audio engineers.

Ik heb deze zelf aangeschaft met een Samson PS01 Popfilter via Bax. In het begin was het even wennen met de instellingen van de Yeti (of ik Cardioid/Stereo/Omni-directional of Bi-directional nodig heb - via de achterkant te draaien), eenmaal ingesteld is er hier geen omkijken meer naar!
Gebruik de Yeti voor zowel studio doeleinden, het opnemen van mijn instrumenten, als dat ik het gebruik voor het opnemen van bijvoorbeeld geluiden als eigen handclaps voor eigen samples.
