A DJ backpack like this Odyssey-made model is a great, completely hassle-free flight case alternative. It's easy to organise and comes equipped with various pockets and compartments, both inside and out, and can hold a laptop, tablet, compact DJ controller or a 10" mixer to name a few. In addition, you can toss in accessories like cables and hard drives, or even a microphone. Comfortably padded and fitted with a smart sleeve on the back, this rucksack can even easily be pulled over the extendible handle of a trolley-style flight case.
