General

Stagg's USX-ACA-S is a sophisticated soprano ukulele made of rugged wood types for a warm, rich sound. The top is made of solid acacia, which is a hard wood known for providing a warm sound with a focus on the mid tones, without being overly woolly. Rosewood was used for the sides and back. This lovely instrument with a friendly price tag makes a tasteful addition to any musician's collection, and as the soprano uke is the most common of the bunch, a large repertoire will be at your disposal.

Stagg USX-ACA-S: unique features

Thanks to the natural finish of this ukulele, the unique wood grain really shines. You'll notice that the top of the USX-ACA-S really is quite unique, starting with the two symmetrically placed f holes. In addition to that, the soundhole has been placed at the side rather than on the top. Not only does this serve to highlight the beautiful acacia wood, but it also allows the top to resonate optimally for a fuller sound. The neck and headstock of this soprano uke are made of mahogany, and the 12-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood. Chrome guitar-style tuners top it all off and ensure excellent tuning stability. The Stagg USX-ACA-S is an attractive ukulele that won't disappoint!
