General

To celebrate their 25th year, Ortega Guitars introduce a range of decked-out and refined instruments, including the RU-25TH-TE tenor ukulele. The unique ziricote body of this uke doesn't just complete a somewhat eccentric look but actually gives this instrument its remarkably eccentric sound. Immediately warm, the effect of this wood can be compared to ebony, but it packs a little more bass-rich depth. This is balanced out by an enhanced brightness and supported by great projection. Since it is a celebration, the fretboard has been finished with an intricate 'tree of life' walnut inlay and the soundhole is encircled by a unique rosette.
