General

The MK-SS-RD is a red soprano ukulele from Kala's Makala Shark series. It has an agathis top with a mahogany neck and a rosewood fretboard for a rich, bright tone. The geared machine heads and shark-shaped graphite bridge give it excellent tuning stability and it even comes complete with a case.

Makala Shark Series

The soprano ukulele enjoys great popularity around the world because of its happy sound, its compact size and a price that is generally affordable. The Kala Makala Shark series of ukes all have a unique design feature with a bridge in the shape of a shark! All of the models in this series have a mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard and geared machine heads for a great sound. The uke is great instrument for young and old alike.
