General
The snug-feeling, thinline body of the Kala KA-KTU-T Koa Travel tenor ukulele has a depth of just 4.45cm. While it's a mere pocket-sized, slip of a thing, this uke is still able to shape a surprisingly warm and full sound with great projection. This presence is down to the koa wood used to build the body. Grown in Hawaii, tropical koa wood is only harvested when the tree is dead or sick, and perhaps its this level of respect that gives the wood its colour of sound while the stunning natural grain lends a refined finish to this ukulele. The KA-KTU-T Koa Travel comes finished by a pre-fitted set of D’Addario Clear Nylon strings and a Custom Deluxe gig bag.
