General

For lots of musicians, the concert ukulele is a great choice. Due to its size, the Kala KA-FMC offers an excellent mix of sound and playability and comes constructed out of a solid spruce top combined with flamed maple back and sides. The result an especially bright-sounding uke that accurately expresses the tonal character of each individual string and, in addition, has a unique appearance since the grain of the flamed maple is different for every model. The Kala KA-FMC comes complete with a sturdy gig bag.

For eons, luthiers have been using spruce to construct stringed instruments for good reason and the Solid Spruce Series from Kala honours the consistent volume and strong attack offered by this particular species of tonewood. Spruce not only adds a tight finish but an equally tight and direct sound.
