General

Styled and contoured like the distinctive Ibanez RG Series guitars, the URGT100 definitely isn't just any tenor ukulele. This gig-ready electro-acoustic uke has a high-gloss finish, a deeply familiar headstock complete with Ibanez logo, and a genuine tenor-sized body that comes topped with a spruce soundboard where the soundhole has been removed to keep the looks as tight as can be.

The URGT100: Prominently Amplified, Rich Acoustic Sound

Since the URGT100 does have sound holes in the sides, you can clearly hear the rich sound and lightly rounded trebles shaped by the spruce top and okoume body while you're playing. Ibanez have mounted a flexible AEQ-UT preamp along with an undersaddle pickup to guarantee prominent tone on stage, where the 15.75-inch radius of the purpleheart fretboard supports supple fretwork. So you can keep it in one piece on your way over, this RG uke comes with a matching black gig bag.

Two New Metal Machines from Ibanez
