General
The Ibanez UEW15E OPN (Open Pore Natural) is for musicians who perform regularly. It guarantees a great sound under almost any circumstances. This concert ukulele is made from beautiful flamed mahogany for a deep, clear acoustic sound. The rosewood fretboard and bridge add warmth and sustain. This magnificent Ibanez instrument has an open pore finish through which the wood can still be felt. It also means that the wood is allowed to breathe and vibrate naturally, making it excellent to play.
Preamp with built-in tuner
The UEW15E is fitted with black nylon Aquila strings that stay in tune thanks to the open Grover machine heads with black knobs. A compensated saddle gives the instrument good intonation. When an acoustic sound is not enough, the instrument can be connected using the Ibanez preamp with built-in tuner. It runs on two 3-volt batteries. In terms of appearance, this ukulele is modelled after Ibanez's Exotic Wood guitar series. As such, the ukulele has features like ivory-coloured bindings, black machine heads, maple dot inlays on the rosewood fretboard, and a maple sound hole rosette. All in all, this makes the electro-acoustic Ibanez UEW15EOPN one beautiful instrument.

Het elektrische gedeelte is ook tof.
Ook is de kwaliteit-prijs verhouding goed
Moet hier nog meer ervaring mee opdoen, maar het is een goede koop. Kwaliteit en prijs zijn voor mij prima in verhouding.
Daarnaast is ook het design erg fraai.
Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is ook prima in orde, want duurdere ukuleles klinken zeker niet per definitie beter dan deze.
Ik gebruik deze nog niet lang, maar weet uit ervaring dat de ukuleles van Ibanez zeer degelijk zijn, nooit problemen gehad met stemknoppen, snaren, etc.
