General

Flight's Gemstone Series includes this DUC380 CEQ electro-acoustic ukulele in the widely popular concert size. This gives you the sparkle of a soprano model with the range of a tenor for the best of both worlds. Flight have chosen to craft the body using mahogany, for a warm foundation sound and a fair amount of punch. A cutaway provides easy access to all 18 frets fitted on the walnut fretboard, so your creativity is given all the space the go all-out. Striking for a ukulele in this price range, is the fact that both the string nut and the bridge saddle are made of real bone. This not only boosts the overall sound but also greatly enhances intonation stability.

Gemstone Series DUC380 CEQ: Ready for the Stage

The Flight crew have mounted the DUC380 CEQ with a piezo pickup and an FU-T3 preamp. Simply plug the uke into an acoustic amp or an audio interface and you're ready to record your own songs or get up on the stage for a live performance. You won't even need a separate tuner because one has been integrated, along with a 3-band EQ to help you dial in the right tone. A strap can be attached to be strap button for an easy way to increase playing comfort and the DUC380 comes complete with a padded gig bag and instruction booklet.

Mooi afgewerkte ukelele die goed bespeelbaar is. Klinkt akoestisch mooi.
Versterkt d.m.v. het piezo-element valt me een beetje tegen; Heb het gevoel dat de buitenste 2 snaren ( de G en de A) minder doorkomen als de C en de E. Zal wel inherent zijn aan de piezo. Het geluid op zich is versterkt wel okay. Wellicht wordt dit beter als ik er bijvoorbeeld een compressor tussen zet.
Het ingebouwde stemapparaat werkt perfect en zuiver.
De bijgeleverde tas ziet er keurig uit en biedt ook voldoende bescherming. Echt een super meevaller!
Al met al wel een blijvertje, vooral dankzij de zeer nette afwerking! Zeker voor het geld een heel mooi instrument dat echt uitnodigt tot bespelen.

Fijne mooi klinkende ukelele, ziet er ook geweldig uit, ietsje te scherp bij de eerste en tweede fret aan onderkant. Vooralsnog geen last van.

Superblij met mijn Ukelele. Mooi geluid, mooie kleur en superhandig met het ingebouwde stemapparaat. Ook via de PA een goed geluid. Goede kwaliteit voor een mooie prijs!

Leuke Uke!
De kleur is in werkelijkheid iets donkerder dan op de foto's, maar dat maakt hem wat mij betrefd alleen maar mooier.
Klinkt goed, speelt lekker en heeft een stoer karakter.
Het is mijn eerste (ukelele), dus kan hem niet met veel vergelijken maar ben er een groot fan van!
De gigbag kan je als een rugzak dragen en bied voldoende bescherming.
