General
Slovenian ukulele builders, Flight Music keep things light with the Art Series AUC-33 ukulele. The sides, back, and soundboard of the concert-body have been made from mahogany to ensure that characteristic warmth and lush acoustic fullness, and to top it off, the face of this uke has been stamped with a super-fresh two-seasons print. This refined entry-level instrument comes complete with an introductory booklet and a Flight gig bag finished with 5mm-thick padding.
The Art Series AUC-33: Smooth Playability
The African okoume neck of the Flight AUC-33 has been fitted with a 17-fret walnut fretboard; Position markers line both the fretboard and side of the neck for eased navigation, and the 35mm wide nut widens the string spacing a touch, giving your fingers a little more room for smooth chord transitions. Also, for optimum intonation and resonance, both the nut and saddle have been made from real bone - a definite bonus for a model in this price class - and the back has been lightly arched for maximum projection and a snug playing feel.
