Ukulele pluckers and Telecaster fans take heed! This is the electro-acoustic Fender Fullerton Tele Uke, and it doesn't just bear classic ukulele sound, but the timeless shape of a Fender icon. So, if you're seeking a ukulele with some distinct character to it, or you need to complete your collection of six-strings with an itty-bitty four-string, this model will do it.

The Fender Fullerton Tele Uke: Pure Tele-Style

The classic body has been made from okoume and topped with a spruce soundboard, features a solid set-in maple neck and a walnut bridge that's been specially designed to speed up string changes. This build doesn't just look good, but gives this model an immediately warm sonic foundation that retains roundness and definition while never getting too shrill. And since this is an electro-acoustic model, it comes fitted with an exclusively designed FE-U01 preamp and pickup system so this uke can be plugged directly into an acoustic amplifier to unleash pure, Fender-grade sound - just louder. Simply tune up using the handy built-in tuner and dial in your amplified sound via the fitted tone pot.

Fender Introduces Upgraded Mandolins!

Fender recently announced a number of new mandolins: the Concert Tone Mando Pack , Concert Tone FM52E , Concert Tone FM53S , Concert Tone FM63S and the Concert Tone FM63SE . The 53 series features the well-known classic teardrop shape, while the 63 series consists of gorgeous Baroque style mandolins. Furthermore, the E at the end of certain type numbers stands for 'electric', which means that besides the fully acoustic models, there are also electrical models available.
