The top, back sides and neck of the pineapple-shaped Diamond Head DU-200P deluxe soprano ukulele is made entirely of natural-finished mahogany. This not only gives this high quality uke a beautifully dark and warm look but delivers a resonant, full tone while the large, rounded form of the body delivers more volume than that of a standard-shaped ukulele. The Diamond Head DU-200P also comes with its very own gig bag included.
Diamond Head
More than a hundred years ago, the little stringed instrument that is the cavaquinho found its way to Hawaii by hitching a ride with Portuguese immigrants. The story goes that three settled Portuguese wood-workers started to develop their very own variation of the traditional instrument which grew up to become the number one folk instrument in the whole of Hawaii. In tribute to the rich history of the ukulele, Diamond Head took its name from a volcanic mountain on an island in Honolulu, Hawaii and have since produced ukuleles in all shapes, sizes and colours while always following the guidelines of the traditional build. As such, every instrument embodies the feel and sound of a genuine Hawaiian ukulele.

De Uke was goed verpakt in doos en omdoos! Prima!
Deze Ukelele is voorzien van een "regenjasje" (Een dun Nylon Ukeleletasje) maar voldoet voor transport! De Uke ziet er goed, en netjes afgewerkt uit en is voorzien van zwarte snaren. De Brug is anders dan op de foto. Op deze Uke is een "Knoopbrug" gemonteerd, hetgeen ik persoonlijk erg prettig vind. De zwarte snaren klinken, na het stemmen, leuk, lekker en fris.
Conclusie: Deze Ukelele heeft een uitstekende prijs-kwaliteit verhouding en is naar mijn mening een aanrader voor beginner én de wat gevorderde!
