For years, Korg has been a big name in tuners. The Korg TM-50TR is successor to the Korg TM50, which has been a popular tuning device for musicians of all genres and instruments due to its ability to tune minor and major thirds. While the TM50 with metronome is still an extremely accurate and handy device, the TM-50TR offers even more. Its metronome can be used periodically, which means that it will tick for one complete measure, and stop for the following measure(s). This is a great way to train your sense of rhythm. The TM-50TR Black is powered by two AAA batteries, which are included.
Korg TM-50TR: Tone training
The Korg TM-50TR is so much more than just a tuner/metronome. It's also a tone trainer! While you're playing notes on your instrument, the TM-50TR will analyse the dynamics, brightness, and stability of the notes. This function is ideal for horn-players, for instance, who'd like to work on their stability and pitch. The TM-50TR offers different pre-programmed settings for woodwinds, brass, or string instruments, in order to give you an optimal tone analysis. If you want even more precise information, you may be interested in the Korg CM-200 contact microphone, which can be mounted to the TM-50TR. In short, the Korg TM-50TR Black is the ultimate tuner and training tool for tone and rhythm!
