Bringing plenty of versatility, the XO 1602-SR3 Reversed Bb trumpet is able to take on any playing style and genre, whether played as part of an ensemble or as a solo instrument, since everything from soft clarity to a forceful fortissimo is supported, encompassing an extremely wide sound palette. The bell has been hand hammered from silver-plated brass and has a 127 millimetre diameter, while the valves have been made from monel: an alloy that's highly resistant to corrosion. The leadpipe is reversed to ensure smooth airflow and circulation as well as reduced resistance for improved playing comfort and, as a final touch of a refinement, various details have been picked out in gold plating.
