Exclusively developed for younger students, the Jupiter JTB710 Q tenor trombone features a thoughtful, ergonomic design. This edition features a bell made of brass to ensure clear and defined sound, and has also been sealed with varnish to dampen the timbre a touch. Every detail of this trombone has been honed for comfort, so the quarter valve has been removed; the weight of the whole instrument has been expertly balanced; the slide has been fitted with a handle; the thumb rest has been padded; and a special bend in the bell supports a more relaxed playing position. When necessary, both the slide handle and thumb rest can also be removed. Meanwhile the 12.7 millimetre bore and 203 millimetre bell diameter guarantee full-bodied tone and powerful volume.

This model has been made for both beginners and for trombonists with a shorter reach or smaller hands, so you're assured of as natural and as comfortable a playing feel as possible. The more narrow bore also demands less blowing force, and the one-piece pipe promotes a fast and smooth response to help motivate the novice player to keep drilling their exercises.
