Compatible with all Yamaha Phoenix Series shell sets and kits, the Yamaha PHXT1209M-MNT Phoenix Matte Natural 12 inch by 9 inch hanging tom features 30° R4 bearing edges, a set of Die Cast hoops and comes pre-mounted with Yamaha New Hook lugs. This hardware loadout supports the a unique eleven-ply hybrid shell that blends the bright and immediate response of maple with the warm and sustain-rich overtones of jatoba and kapur wood to result in punching sound, plenty of presence and unique sonic complexity.
