A canon of a floor tom, the 18 inch by 16 inch Yamaha JLHF1816UIS Live Custom Hybrid Oak floor tom has a unique six-ply oak shell with an additional layer of phenol sandwiched in between, boosting the attack and enhancing the punch. A mighty addition to a Live Custom Hybrid Oak kit or, in fact, any kit (especially when coupled with a 16 inch floor tom), this model has also been given a distinct Uzukuri finish, so the complex structure and wood grain is left clearly visible before the Ice Sunburst paint job is applied.
