Pearl's stainless steel tension rods are machined from a single piece of stainless steel, making them exceedingly sturdy and durable. That is why they're used in most of Pearl's drum kits. Your tension rods have to withstand a lot of abuse. They are under constant tension from the drumheads, for instance, and they have to deal with the force created by the impact of your bass drum beaters. Luckily, these SST-6115stainless steel bass drum tension bolts are built to last, and they will make sure your heads stay perfectly tuned for much longer!
