General

Power Dynamics manages to astonish us yet again with the multifunctional PDX100 tabletop player. Despite its modest dimensions, this media player offers everything a modern DJ could wish for. In addition to a CD drive, the PDX100 features USB and SD ports, making it ideal for DJs who don't want to waste time burning CDs.

Functions and features

This compact powerhouse features a sturdy jog wheel that offers great grip, pitch control up to 16% and a loop function - basically everything you need to deliver a decent DJ set. The PDX100 is capable of playing back MP3 files via USB, SD or SDHC, and support USB sticks and external hard drives of up to 32 GB, as well a SD cards of up to 64 GB. It also allows you to store tracks, cue points and loop points, up to a maximum of twenty. Other note-worthy features include an anti-shock function, pitch bend and fader start, and a number of great DSP effects that enable you to lend a bit of extra flavour to your sound. The media player's clear blue display ensures that you'll be able to quickly find the right tracks, even in the darkest of clubs. Boasting an exceptionally attractive price, the comprehensive PDX100 will appeal to beginning DJs and professional alike.

The mixer is now fully compatible with Native Instrument's Traktor Scratch Pro 2, enabling seamless integration with your DVS. What's more, you can operate your tabletops via the USB-HID with Traktor Pro 2, including loops, waveforms and track info.
