Are you looking for an affordable tabletop to practise DJ-ing? The Gemini MDJ-500 is a compact tabletop that can be used without external software! Plug in a USB stick with music files to use the tabletop as a standalone device. It has a large 4.3-inch colour display that gives you essential info about your tracks such as title, time, BPM, pitch, waveforms, and more. You can scratch or use hot cues to your heart's content while your mix remains completely intact. It also offers a 100-mm pitch fader that ranges from 4 to 100% for precision mixing. With the Gemini MDJ-500, you'll learn the tricks of the DJ trade in no time!

It's basically a stripped-down version of the XDJ-1000, and Pioneer's answer to the demand for an affordable stand-alone tabletop player that measures up to other, more expensive players thanks to features such as Pro DJ Link and Rekordbox support. The XDJ-700 has a compact housing and comes with a separate stand that elevates it to the same height as a standard CDJ player or a matching DJM mixer.

There was just one little thing: you could only use Pioneer's own Rekordbox with it. But now, that's all changed. The mixer is now fully compatible with Native Instrument's Traktor Scratch Pro 2, enabling seamless integration with your DVS. What's more, you can operate your tabletops via the USB-HID with Traktor Pro 2, including loops, waveforms and track info.
