General

The Fusebox is a 3 VCO analogue mono synthesizer with the legendary warm vintage synth sounds you've come to expect from Analogue Solutions. It was designed by Tom Carpenter, a fervent vintage sound collector and musician with a passion for electronic music. The sounds are accessible and professional, and all voices and modulations are 100% analogue.

Fusebox: endless possibilities

The Analogue Solutions Fusebox offers a huge selection of modulations and melodies as soon as you plug the synth in so you don't need to use a MIDI connection. This device has no presets! That means every sound you make is 100% unique. With the Fusebox synthesizer, Analogue Solutions challenges you to explore the unlimited boundaries of your creativity!

Controls galore

You'll have control over three VCOs (power-driven oscillator), each with a saw and a square, plus inputs for pitch and pulse. Each VCO has an extra addition, such as octave or MIDI pitch control. There's also an interval generator for easily transposing pieces of music. Add the arpeggiator and/or patternator, and you'll have a great sound to work with in no time! The Fusebox is finished with attractive wooden panels and is made with pride in England.

NAMM 2016: Casio MZ-X: A New MZ-2000?

Monday 11 January 2016

The image below recently turned up on the internet. Based on the text and the accompanying specifications, we assume that Casio is trying to lure us to their NAMM booth so they can present their latest keyboard/synthesizer: the MZ-X. This will likely remind keyboard enthusiasts of the MZ-2000, an old Casio model that, considering the words 'Reinvented, Reimagined, Reborn' is apparently about to be brought back to life. Rumour has it that two models will be released, the MZ-500 and the MZ-1000, but take that with a grain of salt; it's very possible that MZ-X is indeed the final name for this workstation.
