General

The AKG WMS4500 is a wireless system for connecting your instrument like a guitar or bass guitar, for instance. This highly professional set provides great sound quality. You can use up to 70 channels at a time, which is very handy for large productions and events. This WMS4500 instrument set is a real workhorse thanks to its robust construction that ensures a long, problem-free life. If you are looking for a professional system that you can rely on, time after time, this is the set you need!

AKG PT4500 beltpack transmitter

This wireless transmitter delivers excellent audio quality, irrespective of whether you are transferring the signal of vocals or of instruments. This is partly made possible by its wide frequency range of 35 Hz to 20 kHz. The PT4500 is equipped with various technological feats that all translate into user-friendliness and increased oversight. This wireless system works with a pilot tone: no sound signal is passed on by the receiver until a stable pilot tone is established between the transmitter and receiver. In practice, this means that you won't be bothered by a loud popping noise when you turn the transmitter on. This pilot tone also constantly sends information to the receiver, so that the remaining battery life, the output power, mute and more can be read on the receiver. The PT4500 can operate for 15 hours on two AA batteries. It can operate for 12 hours on the, separately available, rechargeable battery.

The SR4500 receiver

This analogue wireless receiver uses true diversity which means that it constantly checks which of the two internal antennas provides the best signal and switches accordingly. This way, you are assured of a continuous signal without disturbances, at all times. The automatic setup function that searches the available frequency area for free, steady frequencies, makes things easy for you. The colour display can be adjusted so that it provides all the information that you need. The SR4500 has a built-in data interface, so that it can be controlled remotely via your computer and even via your iPhone, iPad and iPod or Soundcraft Vi mixers.
