General

The KRK 12sHO is a high-output subwoofer designed to deliver powerful, accurate low-frequency sound in professional audio environments. Featuring a 12-inch woven Kevlar® woofer and a frequency response of 29.2 Hz to 160 Hz, this subwoofer excels at reproducing deep bass, making it ideal for demanding tasks such as mixing, mastering, sound design, and broadcasting. Its 400-watt Class A-B amplifier provides the necessary power to achieve a maximum sound pressure level of 123 dB, ensuring clean, distortion-free bass even at high volumes.

Front-firing quad-vented bass port and a a footswitchable bypass function

One of the standout features of the KRK 12sHO is its front-firing, quad-vented bass port, which extends the bass response while minimizing distortion from boundary coupling and port turbulence. Additionally, the subwoofer's bypass footswitch allows users to mute the sub and quickly return to full-range audio on their main monitors, making it easy to switch between low-end monitoring and full-range mixes. With a signal-to-noise ratio of 92 dB, the 12sHO offers precise bass reproduction in any professional studio setup.

Designed to withstand the rigors of everyday studio life

Built with a reinforced MDF enclosure, the KRK 12sHO is designed to withstand the rigors of everyday studio life, ensuring durability and longevity. Its integration features, including a dedicated crossover and optional high-pass filter bypass, make it a versatile addition to any studio, perfectly complementing powered monitors. The 12sHO is a reliable, high-performance solution for professionals who require pristine low-end detail in their work.
