General

Together with the refreshed Type MK2 Series, HEDD also serve up two new studio subwoofers. This one, the HEDD Bass 12, may well be the mother of all subs and comes housed in a hefty unit equipped with a 12" woofer that dives as deep as 20Hz. If your studio happens to be situated next to a seismological institute, don't be surprised if scientists keep showing up at your doorstep to ask you what in the world you're up to.

Features of the HEDD Bass 12

All of the low frequencies reproduced by the HEDD Bass 12 are kept on a tight leash by new Lineariser technology, which has been developed to ensure that the sound remains accurate in terms of phase at all times. Also, if you're wondering for whom this sub has been built, let's just say that singer-songwriters aren't the target audience here. Instead, this active studio sub has been meticulously designed for larger studios that regularly work on professional EDM and film projects. In a nutshell, the Bass 12 is an undeniably accurate and equally impressive piece of studio gear that, needless to say, makes for the perfect addition to any pair of HEDD studio monitors.
