General
The Dynaudio BM14S II is an impressive studio monitor that produces a fat, warm layer of bass tones as low as 18 Hz. It's just the thing for listening critically to large mixes. For anyone who creates full-range projects for EDM music or media and film scores, a good subwoofer is a must. The lowest tone of an upright bass is around 30 Hz. If your nearfield only goes to 50 Hz, then you're going to miss a lot of those low-frequency tones, and that's where the BM14S II sub comes in!
Features of the Dynaudio BM14S II
This sub is designed to work best with the following Dynaudio monitors: BM6 MK3, BM12 MK3, BM6A and BM15A. With the high-pass controller, you can adjust the output to ensure it fits with the corresponding monitor. At this level of professional gear, you can expect this subwoofer to be active, which means you won't need extra amplification. It also has an extra output for its very own signal (the low tones), which can be used in combination with another subwoofer.

Neumann understands the smallest details when it comes to sound vibrations. Their microphones are lauded by studio engineers and their studio monitors offer the same high quality. For extra depth in your mix you should take a look at the KH 805, a sizeable subwoofer with a substantial bottom end.
