General
This monitor set consists of all of the elements you need for tight, quality audio reproduction. The Yamaha HS7 monitors form the core of this set, and are joined by the practical Devine Monpads which not only isolate your monitors but also provide them with ideal placement.
Special features of the HS7
The HS7 monitor is based on Yamaha's earlier HS series monitors, but now features an improved appearance along with newer audio technology. This includes a built-in bi-amp amplification module that feeds the monitors with enough power to give the internal components optimal performance. Additionally, built-in Room Control and High Trim functions are available for fine-tuning the audio characteristics to work ideally with your room and the positioning of your monitors.
Devine Monpads
Anywhere you find a studio monitor set, there's a good chance you'll find Monpads too. These practical foam pieces ensure perfect isolation between your monitors and the table top, so you can avoid vibration and resonance that might negatively influence your sound quality. Moreover, the Monpads can also be adjusted to angle your monitors up or down, which makes it easy to perfectly position them in their sweet spot.

Daarbij zijn de monitor pads die je hierbij krijgt een absolute must zodat je muziek toch niet gekleurd word door de oppervlak van je bureau.
Bij het uitpakken al gelijk enthousiast over de looks van de monitoren. Ziet er geweldig uit en voelt meer dan degelijk aan. De Mon-pads zijn ook een aanrader, geluid is gelijk stukken beter en je hebt geen storende resonanties meer.
Wat een superhelder geluid! Al mijn synth-sounds klinken nu zoals ze moeten klinken. Voldoende power voor mijn gebruik. Ik gebruik de monitoren in een erg kleine ruimte waar een sub iets te veel van het goede is. In dat geval is de HS7 een goede oplossing.
Ik heb geen ervaringen met andere monitoren in de markt, maar de HS7 zijn zeker een vette aanrader!
Ze zijn behoorlijk vlak vergeleken met m'n KRKs (Rokits) die ik gebruik voor DJen. Als je veel low-end zoekt sla deze dan maar over of neem de sub er bij.
De monitors zijn verder heel degelijk gebouwd en wat opvalt is dat ze relatief diep zijn. Je kan de highs aanpassen (-2, 0, +2) en "Room Control" 0, -2, -4. Room control is een low cut filter.
Ik stuur ze aan met een Focusrite 2i4 en ben echt zeer tevreden.
Kwaliteit voor een zachte prijs.
Ideaal materiaal voor in je home studio.
