This Six monitor is a great speaker for your studio and is part of the Ayra range, which also features the Five, the Eight and the Ten subwoofer and combines great looks with a great sound.
Ayra monitors provide an excellent sound and can be used for a wide range of applications. Whether you need it for your studio, for your DJ sets, or merely for your computer, this AYRA Six will do just fine.
Active monitor
The AYRA Six is an active monitor, which means it is equipped with a built-in amplifier, saving you the trouble of adding a peripheral device. The amplifier provides a total of 75 watts, 25 of which are used for the trebles and 50 for the lower frequencies.

The neat-looking design and black finish give the AYRA Six a great, stylish look that matches its high-quality sound.

Ik heb ze aangesloten en bij de eerste test werd duidelijk dat ik even wat meer aandacht moest besteden aan de plaatsing. Ieder die deze monitor in huis haalt raad ik aan ook stands ervoor te bestellen, het is namelijk erg belangrijk dat ze niet te dichtbij staan. De bas heeft op korte afstand geen kans, maar zet je ze op 2 meter afstand dan wordt het al een stuk beter. En zorg je dat ze niet op een klankkast staan (zoals bijvoorbeeld een bureau, of erger, een kast) dan komt de kwaliteit van deze monitors echt naar boven. Een zeer mooi gedetailleerd hoog (dat is bij te stellen naar smaak, maar het meest eerlijk is de neutrale stand), een duidelijk aanwezig midden (waar ik even aan moest wennen, ik had hiervoor hifispeakers als monitoring en die maken geluid onder andere mooi door in het middengebied bepaalde frequenties af te zwakken) en een strak laag. Bij het mixen kan ik nu echt goed horen waar ik mee bezig ben en waar eventuele onvolkomenheden liggen. In muziek die ik al zeker 20 jaar vaak heb gehoord ontdekte ik ineens weer nieuwe dingen, dus dat wil wat zeggen. Echt een verademing!! Voor deze prijs zeker een hele goede koop naar mijn mening. En zoals gezegd, Bax heeft weer snel geleverd!
Als composer en producer heb ik al heel veel monitoring gehoord en gezien.
Toen ik in mijn studio de ayra six aansloot en mijn producties beluisterde werd ik letterlijk van mijn stoel geblazen.
Zeer helder, goede en correcte basweergave en het stereobeeld in ongekent. kort gezegt, voor die prijs heb ik nog niks beter gevonden.
Voor toekomstige klanten die een monitor zoeken of willen aanschaffen, ga de RCF ayra reeks zeker eens gaan beluisteren.
