General
Presonus' Eris series offers various studio monitor sets that combine user ease and mobility with transparency and excellent tone balance. The most compact edition - the Eris E4.5 set - consists of two near-field monitors that are suitable for demanding multimedia applications as well as straight monitoring jobs. A practical front-mounted aux input makes it easy to connect a laptop, a computer or a media player, while a headphone output allows for various ways of listening.
The Presonus Eris E4.5 Monitors: Components
Inside its stylish black cabinet the Eris E4.5 monitor houses a 4.5-inch woofer, made of sturdy Kevlar, which delivers a tight bass response that extends as low as 70 Hz. A front-mounted bass reflex port ensures an additional dose of sound pressure, and the E4.5's 1-inch silk-dome tweeter produces transparent trebles. If your working space is limited, or if you often work on different locations, this Presonus monitor set - which weighs less than 6 kilos - is just the thing for you.
Configuration
The E4.5 set is made up of one active and one passive speaker. The former is equipped with connectors and a built-in amplifier module that supplies a power of two times 25 watts, and the latter can be connected by means of wire terminals. For optimal, interference-free audio transmission, a balanced TRS jack is at your disposal. However, you can also use the monitor's conventional RCA connectors, which makes the E4.5 compatible with a variety of devices and configurations.

Als ik een minpuntje moet noemen: de luidspreker kabel naar de passieve speaker is kort. Te kort voor mijn opstelling. Maar deze was erg eenvoudig te vervangen met een langere luidsprekerkabel. Geen stekkers nodig gehad.
Goed advies gekregen in de winkel in Goes vandaag. Eerder heb ik er Adam TV5 monitors gekocht voor mijn Kawai mp7se piano. Eveneens na goede hulp in de winkel.
Je krijgt natuurlijk waar je voor betaald maar dit product raad ik zeker aan. Ze zijn niet heel licht en met de ingebouwde equalizer kan je het geluid aanpassen naar je kamer/studio. Verder zijn de monitoren gewoon goed en doen ze het prima.
A savoir si vous avez prévu d'être proche des enceintes lors de l'écoute.
