General
The rugged Pioneer S-DJ60X studio monitor is especially well matched with DJ controllers and players. With this model, Pioneer have created a way to neatly reproduce the current EDM sound with a relatively compact monitor. From perky (dubstep) bass sounds to neat high frequencies for juicy vocals: this DJ 60X can handle them all. What could possibly go wrong when the royal purveyor of DJ equipment produces a streamlined active studio monitor?
Amplification
The main component of a solid active studio monitor is the amplifier. The S-DJ60 X does not disappoint in that department: it packs 125 Watts of musical power, divided between a woofer and tweeter using bi-amp technology. About 90 Watt goes to the 6-inch woofer, which is made of aramid fibre and offers a supple reproduction of low-frequency tones and a respectable 35 Watts is sent through the 1-inch, soft dome tweeter. The housing of the S-DJ60X is fitted with a bass reflex port, providing the necessary punch from the low-frequencies.
Design
Pioneer don't design square, lifeless-looking models. As such, the S-DJ60X active studio monitor is as good looking as you'd expect. The rounded corners and stylish, illuminated 'arch' underneath the tweeter (with power indicator), give this monitor a distinctive appearance. This model is capable of providing the average home studio with an ample amount of sound and is available at a surprisingly moderate price. Made for dance!

Maar ben blij dat ik toch voor de 60x ben gegaan, super geluid..
produceren aardig 'kabaal' , voor op zolder meer als genoeg.
Goede bass weergave en vooral de auto off schakeling is een bonus..
