Neumann KH 120 D digital active studio monitor
Product no: 9000-0010-1039 Bax Music Warranty: This product comes with a 3-year warranty.

General

The popular Neumann KH 120 is available in two versions: an analogue and a digital version. This Neumann KH 120 D is the digital version, which is fitted with a BNC input and output. The compact monitor has a robust aluminium housing with neat anthracite finish, and despite its compact size it produces a linear, powerful, dynamic and detailed sound.

Audio of the KH 120 D

The Neumann KH 120 D features a bi-amped class AB amplifier. As the 5.25-inch woofer and the 1-inch dome tweeter are driven separately, they enjoy proper power and don't suffer from distortion. The volume and sound colour can easily be adjusted via the controls at the rear of the unit - this way, you can also eliminate the acoustic influences in your venue.

Inputs and Outputs

Besides tone and volume controls, you'll also find the inputs at the rear. For a digital signal, the monitor features a BNC input and output, while the XLR input allows you to connect an analogue source. Via a switch at the back of the unit, you can select the desired input signal and set a delay, if needs be. This is ideal in a surround or cinema setup.

Tips or comments about this product
  • Please note: the Neumann KH 120 is also available with only analogue inputs: the Neumann KH 120A.
