This pair of Mackie CR5-XBT active studio monitors are the perfect replacement fo home studios and content creators, since whatever you're producing audio for, it needs to sound great. These entry-level monitors provide detailed clarity and more honest audio reproduction than standard commercial hi-fi speakers which means they're actually more honest about what's going on in your mix. Since they also sound good, they can even double as an upgrade for gaming or just listening to music.
The Mackie CR5-XBT: Durable Build, Brilliant Sound and Tight Design
Mackie have earned themselves a solid reputation by developing audio gear that comes with a durable build, brilliant sound, and nicely tight design. As such, you're getting a lot for what you're paying. This set of CR5-XBT monitors produce 50 Watts of accurately reproduced audio per speaker and, since they're active, come fitted with RCA and mini-jack inputs so you can easily hook up a computer, phone, console, or even a or CD player if you still have one. The amplifier is actually built in so you don't need a separate one and, to make things that bit easier, Mackie have added Bluetooth functionality for wireless playback.
A Little ProTools Software is Even Thrown in
Along with a set of active monitors, Mackie have thrown in a free copy of ProTools First Professional recording software plus a nice plug-in package. For years now, ProTools have been the industry standard studio software package for any audio editing or mixing. As such, the set of speakers really is an upgrade for your entire studio setup. Besides ProTools, the package includes 23 high-quality audio plug-ins like 304C Compressor, Eleven Lite, 304E EQ, and BBD Delay.

Ik heb ze omgeruild voor een set Presonus Erix E5 XT's. Helemaal tevreden over en zelfs het geluid is bij deze beter in mijn beleving. Vooral de bass ports aan de voorkant zijn een plus voor mijn set-up.
Voor degenen die het zich afvragen, ik heb dezelfde audio kabels en audio interface gebruikt, daar lag het niet aan. Sterker nog, de Mackie monitoren maakten het geluid zelfs zonder enige audio aansluiting.
Zeer aangenaam aan deze specifieke set is dat je ook via bluetooth kan verbinden. Dat maakt dat ik ook mijn tv-toestel in dezelfde ruimte kan verbinden wat ook meteen betere klank oplevert.
Alles werd netjes en snel geleverd door BAX. Fijne prijs (incl. Black Friday korting) en goede communicatie. Zeker aan te raden.
De bluetooth-verbinding is een fijne extra functionaliteit.
